Mission:
The Women & Family Life Center, a nonprofit organization, helps women and families meet the challenges of daily living and personal development through education, enrichment, support and referral services.

Programs: The goal of our education services is to provide a forum for relevant and timely information as well as offer opportunities to connect under a common area of interest. Examples include: “Share Our Voices” lecture, movie and discussion series; GirlsCoach*GirlsRun (peer-to-peer mentoring program that in 2010 provided 75 girls with skills to increase their self esteem); quarterly workshops on “What Every Woman Needs to Know About Divorce;” and workshops for parents of children aged toddlers to teens.
In addition to programs that take place at WFLC and in the community, we have brought the Women & Family Life Center into the virtual world with the creation of a blog, “Share our Voices, ” which offers weekly topics that engage readers in conversation and/or just passive reading on topics written by staff, board members or community guest contributors. We also have an active Facebook page, which keeps members up to date and in touch in a fun and friendly manner. Finally in January 2010, we launched a new online magazine, called “The Weekly Fare. ”
