Mission: Women''s World Health Initiative will invest in and educate women in vulnerable populations to change their own communities by building sustainable local health care systems focusing on decreasing maternal and infant mortality and early detection of preventable disease.

Programs: The purpose of this needs assessment is to identify factors that affect maternal mortality and gaps in services provided to pregnant mothers during pregnancy and birth in villages in the Saraya region of Senegal.
