Mission: Womennc's mission is to connect local to global issues in order to educate the community, and to encourage young adults to take leadership roles and empower college and university students to engage in local social justice movements as related to gender equality through the student fellowship program. In parallel, it encourages Senate ratification of the convention on the elimination of all forms of discrimination against women (cedaw) treaty.
