it's alright, doesn't stay sharp for long. It could be that the timbers i'm drilling are extra hard, but i'm running out of metal to sharpen.<br /><br />UPDATE: I added two stars since i completed the project. It could still use harder steel, but it never broke after 70+ holes through 8&#34; herdwood timbers. The holehog i was using has a lot of tourque and i did bind it up a few times. I did have to sharpen frequently and its wore out now, but it did get the job done.

Strong and sharp. Cut through dozens of inches of bowling alley. I got a similar bit from home depot and it couldn't do the job like this one.
