Mission: To offer instruction and training in basic life principles based on the foundation of judeo-christian tradition and morality through the medium of radio broadcasting.

Programs: Word radio educational foundation was organized to provide a platform to establish non-commercial educational christian radio broadcasting to communities within the reach of its radio broadcasting facilities which would proclaim the gospel of jesus christ and teach judeo- christian principles for life. _word radio continues its outreach through wsew 88.7 fm broadcasting from sanford, maine, to points in southern maine, seacoast and inner regions of new hampshire, and northeastern massachusetts along the i-95 corridor to boston. _ word radio brings together its four other radio stations in a separate but similar format known as community life radio, operating wrkj 88.5 fm in gorham, maine, reaching into the westbrook-portland area, wmtp 91.1 fm to the mount washington valley region, wmek 88.3 fm in kennebunkport, maine and wwpc 91.7 fm new durham, nh, after its present license held by morning star academy was reassigned by consent of the fcc (federal communications commission) upon application by both msa to transfer its license and word radio to accept the transfer in december 2016.Wwpc brought with it an established listening audience after 24 years of broadcasting. _ funding of the program service is provided by donations from: individuals; impact partners consisting of churches, christian schools, christian ministries, and christian business owners; program producers which are listener supported programs heard on all five stations who participate in shared participation with non-commercial broadcasters like word radio. _ program service improvements this year: method of delivery of transmission from studios to transmission sites was updated. Expansion plans for increased signal to reach many more listeners was initiated through engineering and legal services to make amendments at the fcc. Recognizing a need for a remote administrative office location during the next fiscal year, computer equipment was purchased in preparation and significant time was spent by personnel and members of the board of directors for the purpose of consolidating administrative operations for all five stations and providing workspace for additional employees.
