Causes: International, Promotion of International Understanding

Mission: Convene and connect people around global issues to build a thriving, competitive, and inclusive Pittsburgh.

Target demographics: young people, educators, business leaders, and the community at-large.

Direct beneficiaries per year: 2,500 students and 1,500 community members

Geographic areas served: Southwestern PA (largely the City of Pittsburgh)

Programs: In addition to locally relevant, accessible, and meaningful public programming on global issues, we amplify the stories of people whose voices often go unheard, while demonstrating how global issues intersect with local issues of relevance to Pittsburghers. Our new youth programs help young Pittsburghers acquire and apply the knowledge, skills, and attitudes to develop healthy identities through global learning, leadership, peer-to-peer support, and culturally immersive experiences.
