This is the only brand I've found where every single nut has been fresh, i.e. no rancidity. I was scared to smell it after opening the bag because all the other brands I've tried have at least a handful that are rancid which make the whole bag smell awful, but this bag was indescribably fresh and pleasant -- an unexpected surprise. Super flavorful as well.A side note of caution: if you're used to eating a dozen Brazil nuts from Trader Joe's or Costco (mixed nuts) per day, please do NOT try that with these nuts. Apparently they may be packed with way more selenium than the other brands because you might get signs of selenium toxicity if you try more than a handful at once, unlike the other brands. Everyone's different, but you might want to start slow if its you're first time with this brand. (Also freeze them to preserve freshness!)Will definitely be buying again. I hope this brand never changes.

I loved Brazil nuts as a kid. We would get mixed nuts in our stockings at Christmas and crack them open. It was a treat. These nuts were expensive and had NO flavor, bordered on rancid. I tried. I really did. I had to throw them out.

I read that one Brazil nut a day is good for selenium intake for low thyroid. These nuts are fresh and tasty!

I got these for a daily boost of selenium. It's become a part of my morning routine. Drink water, take multivitamin, brush my teeth, then CRUNCH. I love how satisfying it is to crunch up a Brazil nut. Because I eat them sparingly besides the single one a day this bag has been lasting me months. Definitely worth the money if you're eating one a day for nutrition and not mindless eating.
