I used it to mark pavers before cutting. Comes off easily, doesn't leave marks. However, avoid getting it wet before plasing it on a cutter or it will come off as well without a trace.

ive purchased many different soapstone holders but this is definitely one of favorites. the soapstone is held in with a very positive grip doesnt shift unless i really try to move it snd then only cus thr soapstones itself is soft, and the round soapstone is easily sharpened with any everyday pencil sharpener.
