Best MRES yet good favor great contents . Heaters work very well.the only tiny down side was no TP.

Date code was for March 2, 2017. Received them on May 5, 2017. You can't get that fresh with 34;surplus34; MREs.

Good selection of tasty meals, I mainly got these meals so I could have a hot meal when going camping/hiking in the winter, but the heater doesn't get hot enough to fully warm the meals when it was below freezing.

Got these for an emergency kit. 5 year shelf life, hope to be eating them exactly 5 years from now. They take up a fair bit of room it I'm glad to have full meals for our kit.

I'm very disappointed, especially considering the price. I would have been better served going to Walmart getting the entre of my choice. The choice of meals suck. Chicken Chunks, Asian Chicken, Macaroni, some vegan stuff. What happened to the ham omelette, beef stew, Chicken al a King, MM's? Hopefully, I'll never be in a situation that I have to eat an XMRE to survive.

Excellent quality. Great packaging and labeling. Not a very good selection. I got 6 meal types, 2 of each and 3 of the meal types (6 meals) were vegetarian.

Great tasting, but 2 out of the 3 we tried were missing heaters. Luckily we had a stove with us at the time.

This completely baffled me at first sight, when I opened that case of these puppies they looked AMAZING, although they are a lot bigger than what I thought they were. Although this maybe 2 years old at max, I personally don't care, because I don't plan on storing these for 5 years, but if you do plan of storing these, I recommend storing these for at least 2 1/2 years-3 years. These are absolutely amazing, and I highly recommend you buy them.
