This boot is more comfortable than the Rothco brand. When I first put them on I noticed how light weight they are and how comfortable they are due to the insole that makes them wearable right from the start. A small flaw where the soul connects to the boot may need repair, however.

I wear these jungle boots for work. I started buying them at 28 bucks. Now they are at 37 dollars plus taxes. They are nice and still cheaper than most.

I got these boots for a friend of mine who's feet were getting blistered from inferior boots. His feet are alright now :)

Love the feeling of support that I got from the boots. Reminded me of my time in Vietnam and days of my youth. Now that I am older those boots I once wore support me more than ever before. Light weight and comfortable, and airy for my poor old feet and ankles.

No break in is needed for these bad boys. I slipped my foot it and the fabric and rubber moved comfortably with my feet. Just know your BOOT size, not your shoe size- there is a difference

For how the material feels on the outside, rubbery and durable, they are surprisingly comfortable to wear for long term. And the, what appear to be, little air vents on the sides are an appreciated touch

one boot had a slight scuff on top 3 minutes buffing was gone. fits well,would suggest after market insoles if going for realy long hikes. but is comfortabe with out for a normal 8 hour day.

I am very pleased with these boots, and if they are not the same as army issue during the Vietnam War I cannot see how they are different.I wear a size 12 .5 extra wide (for the old style army issue black boots) and found that size 12 is a good fit for me using two pair of socks: cotton inner socks and GI wool/green socks. So if you are looking for a good pair of boots at a reasonable price you need look no further.
