These sound Amazing!! I was weary about ceiling speakers but in my new gaming area I couldnt find a good way for the rear speakers.<br /><br />Theae are fantastic

These speakers are AMAZING! If they're driven with the adequate wattage these speakers have the write tone for in-celing mounting. They've got enough bass to produce a fairly even sound between all frequencies. They can't get your super boomy bass, that's what a subwoofer is for, however, if you know that and are going into with full understanding of that, these speakers will probably be the best paid solution. They sound better than other companies that I've tried. If you want, you can always pair these with a sub and you'd get a good resolve.<br /><br />I've used them in: foyers or entry walkways. Also used in ceiling tiles, and home theaters. Used also in churches in restrooms, foyers, children's room. Great for either application. They sound clear at a low volume or even a high volume

I bought four of these to use as Dolby Atmos speakers in the ceiling on my upgraded 11.2 surround system. These are very good speakers and are probably overkill for this application. But at the great price I felt no need to get lower quality units, I have used Yamaha sound equipement for years without issue and wanted to stick with a known brand. They sound AWESOME!

These speakers are great! The directional cone and tweeters allow for some flexibility in where to install. Just note that this speaker does not fire straight down, I found this to be a great benefit as I used the speakers for a surround sound system.
