Used for an outdoor lamp post that would have cost a small fortune to repair the electrical for. Looks and works great! Would purchase again.

It was harder to remove the old gas lantern than to install this one. Thankfully the coupler/cap was the exact size as the old pole. Little black spraypaint on the pole and it looks brand new. Full sun, gets at least 5hours of light, didn't stay up all night to watch.

The lights look great on my pillars. My biggest concern was would they be be bright enough and would they look like an normal electric light. Yes on both. I haven't checked how long the light lasts as I'm not getting out of bed for that. I have soft 40W or 60W bulbs in the lights on my garage. The light in these lights match those. The bulb is at the top of the lantern, and round so it looks like an upside down bulb. I was afraid to get one of those lights that look like a low budget solar light but these are perfect. I did some research and the solar panels are top of the line which helped me buy these. Now let's hope they work just as well in a few years from now.12/8/21 Update: Lights still look great and at 5am are still putting out light. These are definitely worth what I paid.

Packaged very well and setup was fairly easy! It has only been a couple of weeks but they seem to work ok, maybe not as bright as I wanted and the lighting is more yellow then a bright white! But overall so far can't complain!

First one I ordered only lasted 2 days. I contacted company and they were very apologetic and were great communcators. Offered a replacement. Have had the replacement up for over a week and so far so good.

A mole chewed through the wiring on our coach light and didn't want to go through the expense of having an electrician coming out and repair the wiring. Thought this would be an excellent alternative. It has worked out well so far. It appears to stay on for at least 8 hours and the dusk to dawn feature works great.

NIMH batteries are reliable, cheap and easy to replace in 3-5 years Just enough brightness to provide charming guiding light at night, around 20W light bulb equivalent Everything is sealed very well, I disassembled three lanterns and they're ready good Real glass and aluminum, should last at least 10-15 years- LED ventilation is not ideal- Ventilation holes in the bottom are not covered with glass, wasps and other pests can enter insideOn the photos you can see an easy mod I did to protect lantern from wasps. I cut some insect screen from old window screen and glued it inside the lantern. Looks nice and protect from wasps.

We have been looking for solar lanterns to put on the walls we just built around our patio and these are just perfect. Easy to install and the light is nice and bright and lasts a long time.
