I tried to install and the paint on the base chipped off when the screw went into the metal.

I put two of these on entry posts that flank out front sidewalk. After five years of use, they are still working.although one is consistently dimmer than the other. Looks a little funny since right next to each other. The paint has faded in the Arizona sun, but that is normal wear and tear for outdoor anything here. If I replace, I would definitely go with another solar pair as I love the freedom to place them without electrical wires.

We live in north east Ohio. We are not known for alot of sunshine especially in the fall / winter months. This light does absorb what is available and stays lit all night long. It is a study, well made light that just slid right onto my light pole. I highly recommend it.

I'm truly enjoying this solar lamp post light. I chose the one with 'arms' as I can hang bird feeders on each side. It's been an instant hit with our feathered friends - we've had so many beautiful bird visitors who enjoy eating at the feeders, and also perching on the bar above. The light functions well at night if there has been a day of full sun. It will last several hours if that is the case - starting bright and getting dimmer through the night. On partially sunny to cloudy days, the light still comes on, but it dims much more quickly. It is well built and strong. Most of the solar lights I have are simply functional and there exclusively to provide light at night. This one is exceptional, because it looks beautiful in the day and the night, and is providing a wonderful hang out for our lovely neighborhood birds. Another feature that I like is that the rechargeable batteries are replaceable.

I have had these lights since 2020 and have been happy with them so far. Unfortunately, the batteries did die, but that's to be expected. I went to replace them and the battery covers did crack and break, from years of being outside. I contacted the company via email (kemecokmc-ltd.com) and they were nice enough to send the replacement solar piece that houses the light and batteries for free. I couldn't be more happier with these lights and the company.I would definitely recommend these to anyone.

I was looking for a solar option for our lamp post since our contractor cut the power to it during a remodel - and we didn't want to spend the time money to re-run electrical. I looked at a lot of different options, but this one seemed to have the best reviews. And the price point was decent as well. It was super easy to install and the first night the light was nice and bright. I'm looking forward to seeing how it performs in the coming weeks months. But so far, I'm happy!

This is a nice lamp constructed of aluminum so it should do well in the weather. It is designed for installation on a 3 inch diameter pole as are most if not all of these post lamps. I needed to install it on a 3 1/2 inch metal pole so I made a wooden adapter and used the mounting base that came with the lamp to fasten it to my flat wooden surface. The lamp works well and looks good.

I bought two of these to put on my entrance posts. They are terrible. I let them charge for two days. When I turned them on I notice they are way too bright for wanted I wanted but thought I could live with them. But within two hours they were extremely dim and within 4 hours, they were completely out. They have been up for three days and each day the same.Don't waste your money. I have already put them up so can't send them back. Terrible.

After 4 months it's not nearly as bright as when we first installed. It has been spring/summer during this time, so we've had plenty of daylight to keep it charged.

Looks great! Nice addition to my front yard. We had to put some rocks in it to keep it sturdy. Took one star off because if the rocks are completely level the pole looks a little crooked. Might not have that issue if you put it in the ground.

I liked that it was easy to put up and offered different ways to mount it. It fit on my wooden post perfectly. And the light isn't that glaring neon look. Is looks like the normal, old way lamp post should light up. Stays light all night too!!!

We bought this light to brighten up our dark yard. It actually cast some good light for about five hours then gets dimmer toward morning but stays on all night to brighten up a dark spot.

I installed this light on my 6 x 6 wood post that I hang my bird feeders on. The light is surprisingly bright and last all night long. It looks nice as well!
