Perhaps my expectation s weren't all that high, since I've had a similar lamp from another company before which was disappointing.Most importantly, this lamp is much brighter.I like the solar panels being at an angle. First, the sun is never directly overhead. I was able to position the lamp so three sides each get more direct sunlight at some point during the day. Second, I'm expecting to NOT have to clean bird poop off the panels the way I did with the flat-top panels.We already had a disconnected gas lamp in our yard from many years ago. That made installation a snap as we already had a hardy three inch pole firmly inserted in the ground.I'm happy I bought this lamp!

The light was easy to install. If you have a brick or stone mailbox make sure you get a stone or concrete drill bit (masonry bit) to put holes in your top area. I drilled 2 wholes and mine held sturdy even though the light has 4 hole spots to secure to base.

I had always wish we had a gas light or a street lantern out in front of the house but I didn't have a gas or electrical connection. So we tried the solar lantern and it turned out great. Sturdy and nice looking! We live in Wisconsin and it illuminates all night during the winter. Check out the picture, it is four years later and it doesn't cost a dime to run. Definitely give it five stars.

Pretty looking but not bright enough. I will need at least 4 for the brightness I am looking for my patio. The price is way too high the brightness you get.

This lamp was great for about a year until it almost burned up. The pics show what happened to one of the battery slots. It became so hot the battery expanded and melted the slot and became logged in. The lamp is now useless. Glad I caught it smoking and disconnected it before it turned into a real chinese lantern. Now I need to find / buy another. Thanks

This replaced an old 12 volt light. I was apprehensive but took a shot.Super easy install and activation process. Not bright but decent light.Even up here with snow on the collector panels for several days it never failed to activate every night. So far it has performed above expectations.

I have never been a huge proponent of outdoor Solar lights. This light, however, is everything it is advertised to be. The light looks great, is absolutely easy to install (on a 3 inch diameter pole) has an off of switch, and is brighter than I ever expected. I liked this so much I purchased a second lamp. I did install both lights on poles that get direct sunlight so I am sure that adds to the positive functionality of the light. If you are looking for a simple solution for a led solar pole lamp I would seriously consider this light.

I really like this replacement lamp post. It was VERY easy to install, looks fantastic, and does the job! It's only been install for a few days, but I'm pleasantly surprised! Our existing lamppost was hard wired, we got an electrician friend over to take a look and the job would have been a nightmare, so we look for other non-wired options and this was a godsend! Would highly recommend.

We used these lanterns on the Bridge in our community. They replaced old gas lights that were no longer in use.

I ordered two of these at the end of November. One no longer works WHATSOEVER, despite replacing the batteries and troubleshooting.I emailed the customer service at kemeco and have received zero feedback whatsoever--not even a we received your email email.Very disappointed in the product and the company's service, especially with an item under warranty.
