Used this light to replace electric lamppost that would have to be dug up. Easy fix!

Electrical problems that could not be resolved with our post light made this a really good fix.It may not be quite as bright as our old electrical one, but it stays on a long time and it's not costing usa dime on our utility bill. It would be great for any unlit areal

This lamp is beautiful; it reminds me of the lamp post in Narnia.It's under a tree with leaves, so it doesn't get enough sunlight to charge to brightness. However, it has enough light to show where the pole is. When the leaves are off the tree, the light may be brighter. This lamp replaces an old, broken gas lamp that was on the pole.

We bought this to replace a post that couldn't be wired. It's in a fairly shady spot so the light is dim but that is to be expected - there is definitely light though! Installation was a breeze as it fits the standard pole size. I'd recommend to anyone looking to replace a broken/non-electrified light.

Solar lamp post was easy to install.Lasts all night yet the light is dim and not very bright early in the morning. But that is not a big issue.Lasts up to 8 hours which is fair.I like the product but do not know if the battery will last a couple of years, otherwise the expense will be too big.

They look so pretty and it's hard to tell they are solar during the day. Light is bright for about 6 hours then gradually dims until dawn. It still emits plenty of light even at 4am just not as bright as early in the night.The light comes with extra set screws which is nice in case you drop one. We were easily able to mount them to an existing structure.Our lights do get plenty of light during the day to charge and I think that is important to consider if you are looking to purchase solar lights. I would definitely purchase these again for a sunny location.

This light sucks the screws that came with light are way to small can't tighten light to pole light don't last no time at all don't bye this light not worth the money

We have an old lamp that no longer works. Underground wire must have been severed years ago. Thought about removing the post but discovered this solar lamp. It brought the lamp back to life and works great. Light stays on until sunrise. Just enough light to make the surrounding area plenty visible. Great investment.

Works. Charged lights for 2 days. Bright for a few minutes stays dim and doesn't light up area much. Basically for looks. Very easy to install in and off feature is cool. Just doesn't light up area very well.

It works great, even in not so perfect conditions.I have it in my front yard, I have a big tree that the leaves cover the solar panels during daylight. But it gets just enough to light the front weakly. Would hope for more brightness but I understand why.But I first bought it in late winter/early spring so the tree didn't have any leaves. When is in direct path with the sun the brightness level was what I needed. I'm hoping that when the leaves fall again, I can get full brightness once again. I will update review either way to give people a good sense of the brightness.

I've always wanted a post light, but wasn't open to the $600 quote to have one installed by an electrician. This was a great solution and the post was an easy DIY install.The light is so bright that you wouldn't know it's solar! I'm so happy I bought this one!!

We bought a fixer upper house, complete with a non-working electric yard light. I knew we wanted a solar powered light so we agreed to replace the broken one. Unlike the rest of our new home, this light post was installed very well and didn't shoe any signs of easy removal. Upon reading a couple other reviews, we realized we could easily just replace the actual light, and could just use the existing pole. It literally took me 10 minutes to replace, and part of that time was spent finding a tiny flathead to turn the screws. It was only allowed 2 hours of sunlight since I installed it later in the day. Even then, the light was so bright and lit up our (un-landacaped) yard. Very pleased!!
