I'm not sure if those cushioned side rods supposed to come out or not, they're kinda a hazards if they came out during a workout. So I gotta super glue them into the holes. Other than that these weights are a delight to work out with

These are very sleek and work very well! Only issue is that the clip to secure the chosen weight on one of the dumbbells was broken when it arrived but we got a replacement one for I think like $13.

For the price point, this set of dumbbells really can't be beat. They are a very durable and compact set. However, the pin weight selecting mechanism is plastic. I am not too concerned with the durability of it. But, it's annoying when the plastic bends around which makes it hard to select a desired weight.Also, the feel of these dumbbells are very different from typical commercial gym ones. You hand is enclosed within a cage, limiting some range of motion on certain exercises. This may take getting used it. Also, the weight is around 5 lbs top heavy. This is more so noticeable when selecting lower weights.Overall, I feel like the pros heavily outweigh the cons. Fair price, compact, durable. The square, flat surface makes it comfortable to rest on your knees unlike most adjustable dumbbells.

Ok, so, yes, they look funny... But they work great. Feel is good, easy to adjust 10lb increments, solid. These have almost no moving parts and the pin to hold the weights is replaceable. You can also get a lot to add 2020 lb for a total of 90lb per dumbbell, so they are expandable! Did not know that when I got them. The bases being flat also make them great for standing on end for things like DB bench. I am seriously impressed and these feel like they will be buy it for life quality.Only off thing was that they REEKED of butane or propane or something inside the bags they came in, but that smell dissipated quickly.

So I am a usual gym goer but I havent wanted to go to my usual gym and were moving soon so I started looking into some adjustable dumbbells and after many many many YouTube videos and reviews I decided to go with the power blocks. Heard nothing but great stuff about how long they last and the overall use. I received them today and they were in perfect condition. I dont mind the cage design either on the handle I actually kind of like it and I cant wait to use them

Switched from a dumbell set which threads on for locking, and the powerblocks are much nicer and quicker to switch than ordinary sets. They also feel pretty durable but will see how they last in the long term.Cut my workout time in half, as with the prior set it was too much of a pain to switch between sets, but these are quicker so I just did a set, quick change the weight, then do the other set

The dumbbells are great. They are very practical and compact. Easy to use and save you lots of space. Ive had them for less than a year but I would recommend them.

The ease of being able to quickly change weight is a great add to any gym or workout routine.

Purchased these to share with my teenage son with limited space. I performed an enormous amount of research into adjustable dumbbells and ultimately chose these. Have absolutely no regrets.We switch back and forth between weight preferences easily and efficiently. And the range of incremental weight selection is the absolute best out there - largely due to the hidden 2.5 lb removeable handle inserts. If you can do simple math, you will easily understand.As I suggested in the title, I've no fear of these coming apart overhead or above toes. Even the highest rated, competing adjustable dumbbells on the market almost all have truly sketchy locking mechanisms counting on buttons or ratcheting dials that will absolutely break at some point, or on pins that will stop pinning, and a most also have wedge like shape designed in the weights meant to hold- but should and surely will always linger in one's mind that they may come apart if jostled ever so slightly the wrong way- or just an accidental bumping together of the two dumbbells above your chest. No thanks to that. I'll stick with these.Even in such a case as the slide/selector on these somehow breaking, it's simplistic design will easily allow for a safe replacement alternative to be purchased (or even made) instead of a complete rebuild or garbage toss like the others that count on too many internal, proprietary parts.Made of solid steel, really good welds, and again, K-I-S-S design.I also chose this model because there are weight upgrades/additions available- up to 90 lbs each. At my age, I doubt I will get back to that level, but good to know as my sons may be there sooner than later.

Priced Well, work like a charm, longevity shouldnt be an issue due to the simple yet very effective mechanism. Truly an impressive product.

Thx Bowerblock for fixing the part. i love these already. every time i walk from my office to living room i grab them and do some curls, military press, act...just ordered the bench and rack so looking forward to more options.

Great for home workouts. I liked it so much I bought a second set for my wife since we lift weights together.Being able to have access to so many weight combinations that easily store in such a small space is fantastic.

The only downfall I see so far is that you can't bail on a lift as easy because your hand is inside. Otherwise every exercise I've tried has been great, even using it as a goblet.I like the square shape because they don't roll anywhere!

The weights i received were clearly brand new in perfect condition. I was a little nervous after my purchase from reading a few bad reviews; But i was relieved upon arrival when opening the package. Nice thick foam completely surrounded each weight. Thin Plastic nicely wrapped and separated each weight attachment. 5 stars easy. Even arrived a day early.My only suggestion is that the two 50lb boxes be not tapped together i just feel bad for the delivery guy/girl who had to carry a 100lbs worth of weights at once rather than 2 50lb boxes.

unfathomable quality and design. these dumbells are very durable feeling and looking . doesn't look like junk they made to break apart and take your money sooner like some other adjustable dumbells made out of plastic I saw online. Literally feels like magic. I've used them once for legs once for back and once for arms so far . doesn't feel like they'll ever break if you don't drop them . sit them down on a couch or stand or the floor don't throw them

The plastic handle holding the weights, is easy to break and low quality. There are better weights for half the price. Also, they feel unnatural and clunky to hold.

These weights are greatBalanced for great form and the handles keep me from Junk reps. Easy to use and the best customer service from Powerblock.

The product is worth the money
