In ALL honesty this has replaced me having to run a fan 365days a year so I can sleep!!! It's AMAZING. Wish I had this years ago!!

I bought this machine so I could sleep in while my roommate bangs around in the kitchen at 7am. It gets the job done. I used to hear the sink, pots/pans, fridge opening and closing, but with this white noise machine on full power, the kitchen noise is now muffled enough that I am able to sleep through it. If you are bothered by noise in the morning then this is exactly what you need. (Also, I saw people complaining about how the “new ones” are cheaper but this thing doesn't feel cheap at all, it's high quality and sounds great).

Very easy to operate and works great. However, a fan probably works just as well and would be less expensive (but may use more electricity).

This is my 2nd Dohm sleep machine. My first one I had for 5 years and it finally gave out after every night use and also nap use .. I couldn???t be happier with this product. I even take it to hotels when traveling.

This is my 2nd one, and I'll always buy the product if I have to replace it. It has a very calming sound, not the irritating noise that some of them make, and it is adjustable for the type of noise you want. You can turn the top of the machine to muffle the sound a bit, or twist it to get full noise. It's great, and apparently used in many mental health therapist offices. Very soothing.

Best purchase I made in a long, long time. I was hesitant after reading certain reviews but I decided to give it a try. I???m so impressed. Our toddler (who usually wakes up at the slightest noise) started sleeping through the night, literally on Day 1 - and we don???t have to worry about noisy neighbors anymore. Don???t hesitate, it???s worth the money and it works!

Between my husbands snoring, CPAP, and my snoring..... it was not a pretty scene!!!! This little machine saved our marriage!!!! Just the right amount of backround noise to lull us to sleep and keep us there!!!

The unit puts out a gentle white noise that prevents 34;Busy Body34; neighbors from listening in on phone conversations. It also prevent these same neighbors from successfully determining where I am in my condo unit, so they can't stand directly above me and stomp on their floor/my ceiling. I bought a second after I saw how successful the first was. Money well spent.

These things here are THE best ever. I have never needed sound to fall asleep. I can sleep pretty much at anytime. But the first time I used one was in Savannah GA on a trip, and I had to have one. It helped me sleep deeper than I ever thought I could. Great for if you need to block out noise or like the white noise sound to sleep!

I've been using Marpac sound machines for a long, long time -- at least 20 years. I dropped the old one I had, and it got a funny clicking sound in it, so I had to get a new one. This one is just as good as the old ones. It's a nice smooth white noise sound that's very soothing and very much in the background. After all these years sleeping with one going, I can't sleep without one now. With the Marpac, you can turn it to louder or softer with the switch and then further adjust by turning the middle panel which allows more or less sound through the vents on the side. I highly recommend this unit for the quality of the white noise sound and for it's long lasting performance (based on my old ones).

This thing works great, really helps my fiance sleep. At first she didn't think it would get loud enough but she uses it with the vents partially blocked off on the high fan setting.
