Mission: The Youth Environmental Alliance mission is to deliver education programs and facilitate participation in environmental activities to diverse persons of all abilities. At Youth Environmental Alliance, we are proud to serve as the center of an organized network of charitable organizations, educational institutions and businesses that share a common underlying philosophy – “For Youth, For the Environment, Forever. ” Youth Environmental Alliance programs deliver measurable results that benefit the community and the environment and that deliver measurable results to clients. The YEA staff not only provides expertise in the subject matter and program applications, but our staff walks our talk, implementing the behaviors that we profess in our own lives and restoring our yards to increase wildlife corridors and provide numerous other ecological and environmental benefits. Results: During in-school classes, outreaches and environmental restorations, we have accomplished the following since 2009:-165,000 people taught-204,000 plants planted-3,000 trees planted-over 200 pollinator gardens installed

Target demographics: the environment, educate children and adults and empower people to action

Direct beneficiaries per year: 19,000 child and adult students and volunteers

Geographic areas served: South Florida and Baja and our virtual programs are national.

Programs: Science and environmental education in-person and virtual hands-on programs focusing on subjects such as gardening, pollinator gardening, restoration of native habitats, ocean acidification, hydroponic gardening, fishing and DIY Fishing gear, plastic pollution and solutions, composting with worms, water usage and conservation solutions, phytoremediation
