Needed something that will look more industrial and cool. Wanted to charge the battery without opening my hood when I am camping. Since my trailer has solar now I can use that power to also charge the truck while sitting and looking cool.

After install did a water test opened up and inside dry. This is the best one to use with my Noco Genius series 2. Charger. Had a previous brand and lid would not closed. I'm in a saltwater environment and this is very well made

I used this to replace another that clamped my charger cord in the back of the unit. That one did not feel secure but this one is like plugging into an outlet in your house(backwards of course). Much more solid feel and looks built to last. Worth the couple of extra dollars over the lightweight one.

Used this as a bypass for electric into my cycle trailer. Cut the holes and attached this. Looks good on the outside when closed and good when in use.

The only negative I have found is the outside flange could be a little larger to accommodate a slightly larger hole to install the cord. The cord goes downward and the thickness of my trailer wall made it a little harder to install because I had to make a notch on the inside to let the cord/plug come all the way through.

I was able to drill into the top of my Boat platform for easy charging of both my Boat Batteries on my new Bass Tracker Classic XL. I had no problem(s) drilling and flush mounting the unit.

Made the mistake of installing these on my rental fleet. They are extremely fragile. Break frequently, NOCO products are not as reliable as they were in the past. Company has changed from a supplier of quality products to a BRAND selling crap.
