Look this isn't a high dollar knife. However it a knife that works for what it is used for. The handle is a type of hard rubber or plastic. It's an everyday working knife.

Comes kind of sharp but once you put an edge on it you can cut anything. Be careful! Great tool for harvesting lettuce.
