It's sharp, it's serrated and the curved blade slices leaves off of my banana plants with ease.

I really love this style of tool. Bought my first cheap one at the Japanese dollar store nearby, used it for years, this is a great upgrade because of the bright handle and stainless steel blade.

Movies always show people hacking their way through the jungle with machetes; similarly, I find this style of sickle unbelievably helpful for bushwacking through overgrown Blackberry and English Ivy in the Pacific Northwest. There's no other tool like it for chopping Blackberry canes one-handed, you can slice through them and move them out of the way while staying clear of the thorns. It makes it much easier to get at the roots and grub out properly when the rest of the weed is out of your way.

Also excellent for Clematis and other vines as long as they're small enough - 1cm is about the limit for what this tool can handle.

Bought this sickle with the intent of harvesting lavender, it can be used for so much more than that. Great cheap sickle for gardening it has a cheap but decent handle. The inside of the curved edge is pretty sharp an the outside of the blade is serrated. Great little cheap sickle for a novice gardener.

At first I wasn't impressed by the plastic handle, however, after using it, I love this too! It is sharp and makes hand harvesting much easier.

Light, sharp versatile tool. I have owned it for over a year and use it regularly. The red handle makes it easy to spot.

Not bad! Was hoping it woulda been heavier, as it being so light your arm really has to do the work.
