I am not one to write reviews, as a rule--but this product failed after just barely one year and I find that most discouraging.

Things are just not made like they used to be! This pressure gauge was to replace a gauge on my well system where the original gauge had been physically damage by a falling object--the original gauge was installed 20 years ago--if I had not accidentally broken it, it would probably still be working today.

I don't know exactly when this gauge failed--sometime this last winter--I don't check this item frequently--couple times per year to see how the well pressure settings are maintaining themselves. This gauge is now frozen at 43 psi on a system that is set to cycle on and off at 40-60 psi.

I have no idea what the cycling pressures are for the system at this time. I now have to find a new gauge, drain the system to relieve the pressure, install the new gauge, and cross my fingers that the new gauge will be of better quality than this failed gauge.

The reviews, in general, state that this product is well received--but, I am unable to agree.
