These clippers are terrific for lots of uses. I first bought them for trimming my goats' hooves, but before I got to use them for that purpose I made use of them in the kitchen and the garden! They snip through chicken bones in the kitchen, and make quick work of cutting through lobster shell. In the garden they are perfect for cutting veggies with thick stems. They are easier to get into tight spaces than my garden shears or pruners.<br /><br />Get one for each area; kitchen, garden and goats!

We recently got a pygmy goat. We have no experience with trimming hooves at all, but these made the job super easy. They seemed well suited for the job and am so glad I made this purchase.

I've never used one of these hoof trimmers - but watched a you-tube video on how to trim sheep's hooves and was able to get the job done with ease.

I purchased these to trim my miniature goat hooves and I am pleased with both their quality and ease of use. My hands are smaller than average but these fit comfortably. The shape of the cutting blades made it easy to maneuver around their hooves and clip in all the right places. I would definitely buy these hoof trimmers again.

These things are crazy sharp! Easy to use and light to carry around. My hands aren't as strong as they used to be but I can use these clippers very easily. I haven't had to sharpen them yet, so I can't speak to how that will go. So far, I really like these trimmers - especially for the price!

Worked well for trimming alpaca toenails. Only did 3 animals so don't know how durable it will be. Oddly, looks just like flower pruning shears...

Purchased item for hoof trimming; blades are a little to wide to trim my baby Nigerian goats' hooves at the moment but should work well when the goats get older. Item has a solid construction and nice spring action.<br /><br />I tried them out pruning our pomegranate tree and they worked very well. I have arthritis and these made the task of pruning less painful. The sharp blade, spring action and solid construction are a winning combination for all my desired uses.

Excellent used as goat hoof trimmers. Just did 4 goats, it was like cutting thru warm butter.. hardly any resistance. Will be buying these again when I wear this set out :)
