I bought these to trim lambs' hooves. They are sharp! Quite comfortable in my hand. The only thing that keeps occurring: They keep locking if I have a difficult cut. This is very trying because you have to stop your flow to unlock. Otherwise I am pleased with the quality.

Bought these to clip my mini pigs hooves, they work great! Watch your fingers!<br /> Wish they were coated so hand could get a better grip.

These work great for trimming the goats feet. The narrow cutting blades make it a lot easier to get in the smaller spaces. I guess my only complaint would be that the lock slips on while using them and has to be pushed back to get them open again.

On first use, I am happy with these hoof trimmers. The real test will be how they hold up to a years worth of use. Until then, I can only say they did a good job

I ordered these shears to trim my goats' hooves. These are a sharp, nice quality. They look like they'll last a long time. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is that while you are using it, sometimes your hand will push the pin to lock them closed and it was just inconvenient. Definitely worth the money for use.

Good for clipping goat hooves. The only problem I have found is when the hooves are moist and soft, these clippers don't work well. But on a dry hoof, they are great. The blades are a little on the thick side, so I would use the clippers to get the majority of the hoof off, then use a rasp to finish the hoof.

It was recommended to be by a fellow pot belly pig owner. Works great to click their hooves! They are very sharp. I've cut myself twice. Thats why I give it 4 out of 5.

Very nice hoof shears, especially for a smaller hand...and smaller goats. Sometimes the bigger shears are just too bulky to handle, especially when the goat is wiggling around. I've used them half a dozen times and they're starting to get dull. I hope they will sharpen up nicely.

i am a full time farrier and bought these to trim some goats that some of my clients ask me to do. the blades are a tad bit thick and might take a little bit to get use to. but let me tell you they cut through like butter. i was very impressed.

I bought these to cut the callused chestnuts off my horses legs. They work great. I wish I had paid better attention though, I would have liked a pair that had a thinner, more pointed tip. But they do the job.

These things do the trick! I needed a pair of sheers that could cut through my pigs hooves. They worked!!! I have tried several others with no avail. They worked so well in fact that I almost cut my finger off! I now have a scar from them. I am sure they will keep working for years, but it will be a while until I have enough guts to use them again.

These are good. I don't care for the marbled handle though. I'm sure it's there to get a better grip but for some reason I find it uncomfortable. It's not a deterrent, they still work great, but my preference is a smooth handle finish. The lock clip doesn't work that well. When you have a goat hoof in hand and you reach for your trimmers, you need the lock to release easily. Sometimes it takes an attempt or two.
