I searched for quite awhile before selecting this little greenhouse. I bought another one but it was too big so I sent it back and bought one of this. I have a multi slot tray (from Burpee) that I like but my seeds germinate at a different rate so I needed another method that could allow me to move the sprouts outdoors before they started to get leggy. After a few tries I came up with this solution. I used the first one for about a month before buying the second one. I really like them.I agree that it isn't a full green house effect because the bottom is open (the cover can't be secured to keep the air/wind/cold) out) but I found a solution that works. I use the green tarp and that comes up on the sides to keep the cool air at bay. It isn't a perfect solution but I can keep the moisture in so it works.

This pvc cover is thicker than my expectations, which is good. some pvc covers from other seller are so thin that it can be easily torn apart if you drag it too hard.overall the green house is really petite. Check the size before you make the purchase.

In a dramatically rainy spring, my plants were drowning. This product was a great way to keep them getting sun (when we had it) but controlling how much water the plants got. I tied them to the balcony railing with twine to make sure they didn't tip or blow away, but they're keeping my plants happy!

My only problem is the wire rack that comes with it. It doesn't fit the whole bottom and stuff will fall off. I finally put it on top of a tray so my plants will fit better

This is really cheap. Directions are useless. Pics only, no words. Came with extra parts (??). The unit when assembled is flimsy but once you place a decent weight pot inside, it seems to be stable. The zipper is in the front which makes watering a bit of a challenge. Should be on the top, so you could unzip and water the plants. Zipper on the side just doesn't make much sense. You get what you pay for and thats the case with this product but for my needs, I simply couldn't find anything else out there.

I got this to cover some house plants so I could keep them by the window on my kitchen table. My apartment had a problem with fungus gnats, and I thought sure this would keep them out. I repotted and changed the soil, but the bugs got in anyway, probably through the bottom. Apart from that, I guess this is a decent product, but it took up more space than I thought, wasn't that sturdy, and wasn't that great looking for a kitchen display. The vinyl covering was kind of wrinkly. But for a plant grower in a different environment, this would probably work well, say for African violets or under a grow light.
