I used it to clear the woods behind my house, left it in the rain on accident and it still cuts really well despite being rusted.

This tool replaces hand-held snippers that wore my poor hand out so quickly when tackling a large job. This is much better.

To clumpsy. I've cut myself 4 times. But it is a wonderful tool to have to cut down weeds. I give it a 5 stars

Made short work of clearing an overgrown garden...its a very sharp blade... Handle it with care . The very tip of the blade bent some what....but it's still a favorable review for this tool. I thought it performed rather well for what I needed .

We have 5 horses and 2 two cows that love alfalfa treats. I have some wild alfalfa on our place and I use this Sickle for cutting it. Cuts clean and easy. After about 5 cuttings I lightly run a stone along the cutting edge to sharpen the blade and remove the alfalfa plant juice. Will also cut other thicker weeds easily. I love this tool.

Wow! very sharp. Use carefully. Cuts with pulling action. Blade is effective for weed type plants. Not strong enough for woody stems larger than 1/8 inch in diameter. Included blade sheath is a good idea for safety but will probably rust if sheathed wet.

This is very SHARP. It works great for what I use it for which is to cut my thick ornamental grass in the spring. This worked perfectly for that use; it saved a lot of time as I used to cut it with hand cutters and my hands would get so tired. This cut it much faster without the sore hands. I wouldn't use this on brush as I don't think it would hold up for that but for non woody weeds and thick grasses it works great. One MUST keep the hands away from the blade when using as it is knife sharp! I keep mine oiled to deter rusting.

It's really sharp, easy-to-use, and a great tool to have, I'd even pay a bit more for a better scabbard.

This hand sickle far exceeded my expectations. It cuts weeds, grass, small branches like butter. Very sturdy and well built. I use it frequently rather than get out the weed eater. Highly recommend!

I really like this blade super sharp, my only slight complaint is that it needs to be attached to a longer stick or handle. I personally don't want something this sharp close to my body when swinging.

Robust well made tool that is very sharp out of the box. Made in Taiwan, not cheap china junk. Highly recommend!

This tool is fantastic. With one good swipe, it can take out a good chunk of even heavier materials. Great for keeping areas around rocks nice and neat

Very impressed by the quality and usefulness of this tool. It has proper weight, not so heavy to tire your arm, not so light as to be flimsy. Perfectly balanced. Very sharp and cuts wood better than any axes or knife I have used. I immediately ordered the long handled version. The only caution is that this blade is so sharp that you need to be very careful in using it such as with protective gloves and and controlled motions. A sheath would make it perfect but the plastic cover reenforced with duck tape would do OK.

I harvested wheat with it and removed tons of pig weed with it I need to find a good sharping solution for it because of its irregular shape, it came super scary sharp I would suggest some cut proof gloves when using it . I hope I can find a pare for myself, but it was worth every penny.

If it was bigger, it would be better, but this sharp little knife mows down star thistle like a hot knife through buttah the sheath is a joke, but the knife is functional and very sharp. I don't know if it's worth resharpening in a bit, or just getting another, but it is still sharp after a lot of star thistle cutting.

If you need to take down small saplings or weeds this will work great. This is a close quarter tool so if you have acres to do and you don't have Popeyes arms nor weeks available this is not the right tool. But for clearing a path for walking through brush or a small area, it works great.
