It is awesome. Small learning curve. Aim curve outwardly, holding weeds with non dominqnt hand. Keep blade cleaned and oiled and it should stay sharp longer

I got this sickle for hacking out some of the heavy brush that shoots up on parts of my property that I don't usually get around to on a regular basis. I started using it and brush started toppling. I encountered a rogue decorative bush, with a trunk about 2 1/2 inches thick. I wanted to trim around it and come back later to take it down. As I was hacking away at vines and thin branches, I missed and hit the trunk. Wood chips flew. I thought why not? and hacked at the trunk. In about 8 well placed hacks, the trunk was chopped through. This is not designed for anything that heavy, but it will do the job if you want.

Maintains scary sharp edge and tip. So good I got excited and bought other items, that maintained neither blade integrity tip off lite use under one hour, and use in soil quite dulled. Will buy again.

This is a really solid blade on a comfortable, sturdy handle. The blade is really sharp, so keep it away from kids. It slices through an English ivy fine like butter. Much better than a different one we had years ago. Worth the cost!

Maybe I am bad at the motion, but it feels awkward to use compared to my anvil loppers, and also feels less safe.

For it to cut the grass around my AC that I couldn't get with my stroller, worked great. Started to do some of the harder to reach corners of my back yard too and like a moron, accidently grabbed the blade. It's been three weeks and it's still healing. 9/10, I'd gladly have paid a few extra dollars for a sheath for it so I can wear it on my belt while doing yardwork

Easy to use. You do have to STOOP to use it - that's part of how it's used. So keep your core strong and your swinging arm steady.

Upon arrival looked like a toy very small. However, it slices weeds like butter. Took only a few minutes to wack weeds in backyard. Mel Gibson could use this lethal weapon in the Patriot instead of an ax.
