i order this RJ45 coupler because many time I have encountered myself far away from the router and having 2-3 cables instead of a long one and this connectors have safe me big time. They are as easy to use as plugging the cables in from each extremity and boom, there is a long cable. The connectors are well maid and do not obstruct the speed in any way. Since my package come with 6, I gifted the rest to my friends, so they would be able to solve this same problem I had and thanks to thighs connectors a resolved.

These couplers are superior to those that have been used widely in the industry for years. You know it as soon as you take one out hold it in your hand. Glad I found these!

My dog tripped on a Cat5E cable that I had extended using a $5 Home Depot coupler (I needed to get something going in a pinch). The store-bought brand fell apart instantly.These ones are built like a tank. The plastic and metal components are thick, they have some serious heft to it. You could probably manage to put a dent in someones car if you threw it at the car.So far it passes data at gigabit speeds without a problem. 10/10 would recommend (although I still don't recommend tripping on extended cords)

Used these to install a PoE camera system in a warehouse. Works like a charm and video quality is perfect. These made my life much easier by reducing the number of cables I had to make since I was able to link the pre-made cables together that came with the cameras. Definitely a worthy purchase!

They are a little clunky, but very secure. No noticeable loss of bandwidth. Great value.

I am most likely not the only person in the world to have made a lot of changes to my home network over the course of 2020. I'm also probably not the only one who has a higher SLA now that multiple office worker family members are working from home full time. Combine the requirements changes and the need for minimal downtime and you have times when you need couplers to fill in the gaps until you can install patch panels or more permanent solutions. In at least these conditions, these couplers are beautiful. I've been using 4 or 5 of them for around three months. These are every bit as reliable and solid as a patch panel. In fact, you could think of these like a 1 port barrel type patch panel. If you're one of the people who actually NEED shielded cat 6 or above and know why you need them and aren't just buying the newer cable then you'll also know why these won't work for your application. For the 99.9999 of people who just need cat5 cable with 4 twisted pairs for gig Ethernet, these will be absolutely fine. I've got no idea why some people say these don't work. Maybe they have a bad batch from time to time... mine are all good to go.
