Quality of these bags are much higher than the retail version. Once the bag is sealed it's actually difficult to open, which is a good thing.

This is a large supply. I use gallon ziplocks for many tasks throughout the day - in the kitchen for storing washed grapes and other prepared ready to go produce, opened bags of crackers or when the chip bag rips. I also use them when traveling for bathroom products - they are easy to grab from the suitcase and provide a buffer between your clothing and a leaky bottle or tube.

Like the value with purchasing the big box, good price and great when needing a larger bag for storage.

The box is deeper than it needs to be. There was so much room left in the box that I took all the bags out to count them to make sure my box wasn't shorted. The opening on the top was too small and jagged for quick and easy grabbing for bags but that was fixed by ripping off half of the top. It'd be nice if they made the hole larger and come down the side in a V shape like they do on the smaller boxes. But the important thing is the bags and those are exactly as advertised and I'll be getting more in the future.

I really love these 2 gallon ziplocs and have purchased them numerous times. My husband and I have travelled full-time for the last 18 months, so I'm constantly using these for different things. One of the things I really like about the 2 gallon size compared to the standard 1 gallon size is that they perfectly fit an entire outfit - pants, shirt, socks, underwear, even bulkier items like cargo pants or sweaters/pullovers. They are also great for full-size toiletry bottles and large condiment bottles that 1 gallon bags would not accommodate. I can also easily fit an entire King-size sheet set in them, which is a stretch for regular ziplocs. I find them to be very sturdy and durable - I've never had one tear or puncture. While I almost never use them for direct contact with food, I'm sure they would work just fine for that. I am trying to make a conscious effort to reduce my single-use plastic usage, but I will still keep these around and use them more sparingly and re-use when I can.

These are a sturdy bag and even though they don't have the slide zipper they are easy to close. I wash them and reuse them several times so very durable. They did come in one big box and not in the smaller boxes, so this is not real convenient for pulling one bag out at a time. That is the only complaint I would have.

These bags are great for marinading meats and packing food for camping. Hard to find in the stores so I stocked up on a big box of them.

2 gallon is a great size for organizing a suitcase or organizing odd size items around the house.
