The local pet stores are overly expensive when it comes to these bulbs. I'm glad I can get them on here in a multi pack fir the same price I'd buy 1 for elsewhere. I always keep 1-2 extra bulbs on hand.

Bulb does not last long at all. Package arrived March 1 and the bulb went out March 17.The warmth is just right for the size tank at home but my box turtle needs the warmth and the bulbs keep burning out too soon

So, out of 6 bulbs. Here is the run down- bulb 1 came with the filament broken, bulb 2 came with the glass broken at the neck of the bulb and the filament broken, bulb 3 only lasted 1 week, bulb 4 only lasted 1 week, bulb 5 I just started using it today and bulb 6 I haven't touched yet. As of yet, this has been a huge waste of my money of those first 4 bulbs. Sad.
