Mission: ZooTampa at Lowry Park inspires guests to take action in conservation by immersing them in engaging educational activities, up-close animal habitats, and exciting animal encounters. ZooTampa welcomes one million guests each year, and operates a Zoo School to provide early childhood education programs and special learning opportunities such as unique, conservation-themed summer camps. Recognized by the State of Florida as a center for Florida wildlife conservation and biodiversity, ZooTampa is proud to be champions for the state's key species including Florida panthers, manatees, Indigo snakes, black bears and more. The Zoo is also home to many other animals from areas around the world with similar climates. Just by visiting the Zoo, guests are joining the Zoo's mission to save and protect wildlife. (Less)
