Calvin Klein

American designer Calvin Klein launched his fashion brand in 1968, first with coats and eventually introducing women’s dresses, sportswear, blazers, and lingerie. The brand gained momentum through the 1970s, with designer jeans making their mark in 1978 and growth continuing in the 1980s with underwear. The first fragrance was launched in 1978 and fragrances were initially produced by Unilever until 2005, when Coty purchased the fragrance licensing agreements.
