Product Description
This tasty combination of beans is excellent as a soup base or ladled on steamed rice or your favorite grain. Season to taste.

Quick Soak: Place washed and sorted beans in a large pot and add water. To 1 lbs of beans add 8 cups of water. Bring to rapid boil, boil for 32 minutes. Remove from heat. Cover and let stand 1 hour. Drain water and rinse beans. Overnight Soak: Place washed and sorted beans in a large pot and add cold water and cover. May be soaked overnight or at least 8 hours. Drain water and rinse beans. Cooking Instructions: Add 6 cups hot water to drained and rinsed beans. Simmer gently with lid tilted until desired tenderness reached, about 1 1/2 to 2 hours.

Much better than buying smaller bags from grocery store. Family loves the 13 bean soup chili using spices from Azure too.

We put these beans straight into a 5 gallon bucket with gamma seal lid (all from Azure as well), and we love having bulk quantity of these colorful healthy beans. They're a family favorite!

I really like this mix and we use it all the time. Its colorful and pretty adding a lot of nutrient variety. I buy most things organic, but beans are not usually a problem crop and these are so much nicer than any of the organic varieties available--which came broken and filthy--I just rinse these once and out of many bags I've only ever found two dirt clumps.
