When you think about healthy breakfast options, pancakes probably aren't the first thing that comes to mind. However, we're about to change that with our Azure Market Organics buttermilk pancake mix. It's made with our Unifine soft white whole wheat pastry flour and organic buttermilk, which is high in protein and contains healthy B vitamins and minerals (especially calcium). Say goodbye to choosing between delicious and nutritious for your breakfast-with this organic pancake mix, you can have both!
We make the soft white whole wheat pastry flour in our organic pancake mix using our special Unifine milling process. In our unique mill, grain enters a high speed rotor, which instantly shatters it into fine flour-it even bursts the bran and germ! Air passes through the rotor with the grain and blows the flour out. Unlike regular or stone ground grain milling, the Unifine process does not heat grain during milling, so many nutrients and natural oils naturally found in the grain remain intact.
Azure Market products are re-packaged by Azure for your convenience in a facility that meets Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) standards, including an approved allergen control program.
Pancakes: Combine 1 cup mix, 1 egg, 1 Tbsp oil, and ½-¾ cup warm water to obtain desired consistency. Makes six 4" pancakes.
Waffles: Combine 1 cup mix, 2 eggs, 2 Tbsp oil and ½-¾ cup warm water to obtain desired consistency.
