Can be adjusted to fit various play deck openings. Made from 100% Virgin Grade High Density Polyethylene. Will not Crack, Break, or Fade. Weight Rating 300 lbs.

Are there 3 or 4 steps?
Thre are a total of 4 steps. If you mount the steps to a 4 ft. high opening the top step will be flush with the play deck. On a 5 ft. high play deck the top step is 48" from the ground.
Can these be attached to a metal playset?
PlayStar Climbing Steps PS 8860 are made specifically for wooden play sets. You would have a very difficult time connecting them to a round metal post.
