The lids are very hard for me to put on, but I used a rubber mallet and the seal was easier to obtain, but you still need to put some force behind the mallet to achieve the closure if you have any kind of disability with your hands or arms.

I love these buckets for storing feed and also for growing food in them. I prefer to grow food in food safe buckets, no risk of chemical residue uptake into my food. As a grow bucket, they lasted one year without cracks. I think if we had not had a drought and extreme temperatures, the buckets would last longer. Around here, Other generic buckets crack too. Our temps in the sun were up to 118 To be fair, these buckets are not intended to be used as grow buckets.I will continue to buy these buckets for growing in. Love them!

these do the job I wanted them to, I purchased Ropak brand pails for more money but recieved something else. under the circumstances, these are a better value for the money

Im so beyond pleased with these 5 gallon storage buckets. They are food grade and very sturdy. They stack well. The lids stay put. I actually have just ordered more. Arrived quickly packed extremely well. There is NO smell to them and I highly recommend them. I store wheat, beans, flours and sugar.

Make sure you want these..the lids are a one time seal. Sturdy handle okDid not hold the items how I vacuumed them. Will have to do in smaller packages to fit a lot.
