Has a really nice weight to it, and the Fender logos on the bridge pieces is more subtle than in the pictures.

I bought this strat because it was a great deal. Now with the larger trem block it became a great guitar!0

Fit my 60's cv strat perfectly. Careful opening as some of the height screws came out and I had to hunt them on the floor. This replaced the cheap thin tremolo block with something that gives much better sustain. It also sounds fuller when not plugged in. The height screws are taller than the squier saddle screws so they can adjust for even higher action which I like.

I used this to upgrade my cheap squire affinity Strat that came in a box kit. My goal was to take my first guitar and mod the heck out of it and this piece made a huge difference in how the guitar played. The original block as others have mentioned was small and cheap feeling. When I got the new one in, the first thing I did was compare the weight of the two and surprise, the full sized hunk of solid metal weighs more and felt great compared to the original.I will echo what others have been saying that if you have a lower end squire, it might stick out of the back a little bit. For me, this wasn't a deal breaker because I haven't had a back plate on for a while so I still bought it and I would gladly do it again. I will also say that the original squire trem bar doesnt fit anymore but I feel like this is more due to the squire trem bar being for a cheap bridge and not because of something wrong with the new bridge block. Truth be told, I haven't tested another trem bar yet but it works for me. Overall, It was worth the investment

I upgraded a cheap Fender Starcaster (circa 2012) I purchased for $100, and I plunked in new Fender Vintage Noiseless pickups, and since I was messing around under the pickguard I figured why not upgrade my bridge? This one is thick, heavy, substantial, and fits nicely in the well of my guitar. I was a little embarrassed seeing how thick and heavy this one was compared to the cheap thin one the guitar came with. To think I was putting up with such a substandard piece of equipment for so long?Easy to install and functions just the same as the cheapy stock one, but oh the sound quality! A string will ring for 15-20 seconds with this bridge, not that I'll let it go that long. I'm a Clapton fan so ultimately I'm gonna stick a block in there to give it even more sustain, but for $18, what a huge upgrade!

This tremolo worked perfectly for me. I thought I was gonna have to take the block to a machine shop to get it cut but my Guitar is thick enough for it. I'm able to put the back cover without making any contact on the springs or block. It looks amazing and I am happy with this product.

Dropped into my 2008 Squier with no modding. I replaced the cheap and thin factory block. The vintage style saddles also just look way better. Perfect if you're looking to make inexpensive upgrades to your cheap Strat. Huge upgrade in tone and sustain. And for only $19? It's a steal.

This is the real deal.Out fit my Squier Classic Vibe Stratocaster perfectly.I immediately noticed the increase in sustain without plugging it in. That was the litmus test and it passed with flying colors. To preserve my intonation and other settings I unbolted the block from my existing bridge and bolted this one on. It was much quicker and less of a headache than replacing the whole bridge and then going through the riga marole of setting the action and intonation all over again. If I'd have known that it was a simple bolt in replacement I would have just ordered the block instead of the assembly. But, I can use the bridge for another project.
