When I install electrical thingies and I say it was easy, I'm 75 and have been doing things like this for a long, long time. It works just like it should. Some elements in the instructions a bit fuzzy but not horrible Chinese English that you see in some.

Unlike many timers listed, this one is intended for lights and motored devices (e.g., bath fan). It is easy to install if you have some experience doing minor electrical work. After setting up the automatic on-off schedule, you must manually switch from manual mode to auto mode by pressing the cover plate for 3 seconds. This is stated in the manual but easy to miss with a quick read.

I have had problems using LED lights, they want to flicker and eventually the timer switch goes bad. This one was easier to program and works flawlessly with LED bulbs. I used it on my detached garage carriage lights. Highly recommend.

We installed this switch in our front hall for the outside front porch light. It is great - we no longer have to turn the light on - and it's nice to know the light is on when we are away so it doesn't look like no one is at home.

The unit is OK, but the display is very hard to read. Build quality is adequate, but the door for the programming buttons feels pretty flimsy. Overall, seems like a rebrand of another switch, and I just chose this one because it replaced another one that it failed and was an easy installation.

Easy installation and programming. In hindsight I may have opted for a version with backlighting on the display (tough to see in the dark). Regardless, decent price, easy install and programming, has been working for several months without issue.

I use these to switch the tennis court lights off at night. They control a contactor (relay) that does the heavy switching. They have a LiIon backup battery so I don't have to reset them if they power fails.

There is a misprint in the instructions that does not explain the last 2 steps. Once you are done programing the days and times, PRESS on one of the lower corner buttons to end the programming function. Then you MUST close the timer door and hold it down for about 3 seconds. That will change the operating mode from Manual MAN (no automatic time activation) to AUTO (this will start the timer function to turn the lights off and on). If you don't change to AUTO function the timer does not work.
