Dolphin Super B connectors are very good! The white Super B connectors do not have the sealant inside, the blue Super B connectors have the sealant inside the connector.Both the white and the blue are very good.Inside the connectors; there are sharp teeth that will bite through wire insulation, as they are crimped.I'm old school, I still strip the wires and twist them together, then crimp.There's a rugged insulation on the outside of each connector, to prevent a short circuit.

Really liked this item. Used to splice wires in doorbell that was cut really short by myself when replaced with Ring doorbell. The gel in wire connector kept wires in place until they were crimped and waterproof wire connections. I used Dolphin dc-4141 crimper to crimp wire connectors. I have seen videos that other crimpers or pliers can be used.

I needed to tap into a very thin, very short, hard to reach wire. There was no way I could get enough wire exposed to use a butt connector or crimp cap, much less get a large crimp tool in there. This was perfect, I cut the wire and created a bridge with my own wiring. I was able to slide this down the wire and get it to hold into place while I crimped it with a small needle nose plier. The teeth do a great job of puncturing the insulation and holding it in place. I ran a lot of tests prior to my install. Even when I gave it a weak to moderate crimp, I still got connectivity. Only when I did a really weak crimp, did it not work, but that was being purposely mediocre with my attempt. Bottom line: if you're in need of something for thin, hard to reach wiring, this is it.
