I use this for a specific type of work. And the manufacturers of what I work on do not use a standard meaning the clearance between the bolt and housing is different by manufacture.So the thickness of the socket may or may not allow the socket to go onto the bolt head. Other than that the socket works well when it will fit onto the bolt. But its not my go to because I cant use it ever y time. After buying it I still go to the 7/16 12 point socket. It works every time

Was able to change oil in BS engine, used to remove oil plug.

When I decided to replace my garage springs myself instead of paying someone over $300 to do the job. I ordered the springs off an Internet site, and they had suggested utilizing one of these sockets to help get the job done. As an admitted tool collector, I had to have this. It did do the job so much easier than using an open end wrench. Do yourself a favor and pick up one of these.

The only reason I gave this four stars is because it is a bit of a loose fit on the 3/8in-drive side, coming off of the wrench more easily than expected during use. It does the job tho.

Good socket to use for bolts, depth of the magnet is not as good as the deeper socket but still good overall.

One side fits the extension perfectly. Other side fits only about a half of the drive. I was looking for full fit on both sides, but this will work.
