Very attractive disk right out of the box but poorly made. They use wood puddy to fill in rough wood... which pops out after the first use. Metal outer rim came loose after an hour. Hasn't gotten any worse but this is unacceptable. Would have retuned it if disk wasn't so inexpensive. I'll be buying another disk in the future and will do more research next time, as should you.

The Discus fail the AAU width, but the weigth was OK 1.6K, so AAU let us use it for competition, but I am now trying to get one that is AAU certify for specification, and asking for my money back.This items should be certify for AAU and USATF for use.

The discus did not have a varnish on it and it appeared old and used. I guess you get what you pay for.
