This is a pretty nice cot/air mattress I have used a number of times now on car camping excursions. I've given it 4 stars as I think it works as advertised, but I've decided it's not me. On the plus side, its sturdy and a nice air mattress to sleep on just as you'd think from looking at the pictures and reading reviews. There are a few reasons I've decided to replace it.1) It is very difficult to pack back into the supplied bag. The air mattress is separate from the cots frame and zipper fabric outer holder. I've practiced at home, I've used this a lot out car camping, I still rarely manage to get it back into the bag on the first try and at this point pretty much say close enough where I can't zip the bag fully and just chuck it in the car and leave it that way.2) The battery powered pump is weak and eats up the batteries quick. I can't say that this the fault of this particular pump, I'd suspect any battery powered pump like this isn't great. I gave up on it and bought a manual pump and use it instead, it's faster, and you'll want something in addition to the battery pump to finish getting it firm on setup (or top off if using it for an extended period) anyway.3) It is not good in cold. You're sleeping on a thin air mattress with a very thin fabric covering, with cold air within and below you.4) The zippered fabric you insert the air mattress into is attached to the cot. There's no detaching it and throwing it in the washing machine for spills or the general dirt stains and the like you're going to get on it.5) Setup and tear down time. At this point I generally take out my not-completely packed from last use cot out, set aside the battery pump I never use but still pack with it, and then spend awhile manually pumping it up. On departure, I do my best to get as much air out of the mattress as possible by laying/rolling on it while it's still on the cot frame, pull it out, then start rolling/packing it to try and get every little last bit of air out in hopes this is the 1 out of 5 times I manage to get it fully packed into the bag on first attempt. Initially, I would then spend considerable time failing and repacking until eventually I could pull the zipper with force around the whole package with great satisfaction, I finally managed it, only to notice an hour had gone by. Even giving up packing it well, it still takes time to mess with, so no fault of coleman's here, just not for me.

Very easy to put up and take down. Re-folding the air mattress isn't too friendly, but that is not a deal breaker. Held air all night long and was so much better than sleeping on a standard cot. Only drawback was the supplied pump is under powered. I would recommend bringing a separate 12v DC pump.

Blowing into the air mattress (like you blow up balloons) works better than the machine air pump to get it extra firm.

I bought mine on Ebay as it was much cheaper. I bought this as part of my winter camping sleep system. I have NOT taken it winter camping yet! I wanted to leave the review now while it was fresh in my mind. I got this just before a weekend. It's a vinyl mattress and the instructions say vinyl stretches so it would be a good idea to blow it up and leave it for a few days to help stretch it out so you don't have to add so much air the first time out to compensate for the stretching. Well...I slept on it on Friday night and it was SO COMFORTABLE that I slept on it again on Saturday night! What's excellent about this is when the mattress finally gives out, you can put any mattress you please into the mattress cover that's attached to the cot! It zips open...I might eventually replace the vinyl with a foam mattress. Can't wait for it to get cold enough to try this out winter camping!

If you want to add a little bit more glamp to your camp, then this will literally elevate your sleeping experience. You are off the ground, which means no more doing the rocking, abdominal workout just to get out of bed. It's about the size of a full size mattress even though it's called a queen. It takes queen size blow up mattresses that fit inside its sleeve that's permanently attached to the cot. The cot itself unfolds easy enough, but there is no locking mechanisms to keep the legs in position - so maybe a slight risk of the legs bending in a weird way if too much weight is put on a not completely open leg. Beyond that, I was surprised to not feel the middle bar of the cot down my back. The blow up mattress does a decent job of smoothing out the lumps from underneath. You might want to invest in a stronger air pump, or use your muscles and get a manual pump for the ultimate workout - but at least you'll have tighter mattress. And yes, two people can canoodle on it - just maybe no acrobatics or wrestling moves.

My grandson is visiting from college for Thanksgiving so I bought this bed for him. It's so much nicer than the old blowup beds we used to have to put right on the floor. It comes with the pump and is easy to use. He did have to add more air after the 2nd day, but it was easy. It has a bag for storage. Haven't tried that yet! Overall, a success!

Much nicer than a floor bound inflatable bed. It's about knee high and easier to access. Clip on side tables with cup holders are nice for storing water bottle and flashlight. Can store gear underneath. Felt a little small for a queen size. It's bulky and heavy and the wheels on the bottom of the bag are worthless. Inflatable mattress looses air overnight - but they all do. Keep a pump handy. I'd recommend it for people who otherwise would not consider sleeping in a tent.

This thing is bulky and heavy to carry. I struggled a little bit getting it to open because it was a little stiff, and it's kind of awkward so it's somewhat difficult to do for a single person. The inflatable mattress included hangs over the edges, which is fine, but it makes the tables hard to use. The comfort is what you expect from an inflatable mattress, although I put a memory foam topper on, and it makes a great difference. The fabric was ok, but I doubt it will stay in good condition with repeated use. The mattress puts a lot of stress on the fabric when fully inflated. Also, when I was packing up, the bars just lightly touched the side of the tent and punched a giant hole in it. It likely has to do with the tent quality, however like I said above, this is very heavy. I'm overall happy with this though, because all the cots on the market are tiny in comparison. It makes longer camping trips in a tent a lot more comfortable, and a heck of a lot cleaner since your'e not sitting on the ground. Also, I suggest having Coghlan's Airstop on hand so you can patch holes. It is always bound to happen with inflatable mattresses.

So noisy when you moved I could not sleep. The leg poked a whole in my tent floor.

Just used this for a week in the Nevada desert. Both husband and I slept on it. I have an older Coleman air mattress, same size with a veloura top and it is much more comfy than this one. .aybe husband aired it up to tight as he likes them firm. I have arthritis throughout my body so I feel things more. What I DID NOT feel were any bars through it and it pumps up really fast with the air pump it came with. It is quite noisy when you scoot around or turn over on it, maybe more time will brake it in. Prefect height, no rolling out onto the floor of the tent. It fit in our 1012 coleman tent with about 14 to spare by the door wall.Overall pretty impressed. Easy to set up, and quick to puy away.

The cot it self is nice, the air mattress is not good at allnot much support and noisy as all get out.Buy the cot ditch the mattress and get two good 28 to 30 air mattresses, don't worry about trying to get one queen size one or ones that are 8 inches, not needed. The sheet helps keep them together but with two there is enough relief underneath that you don't feel the cross bar.I would recommend self inflating pads, the foam and fabric are often a lot more comfortable and quitter

Easy to set up and easy to pack back up in the carrying bag. Keeps you off the ground and even gives you a spot to set your drink. Slightly more comfortable than your standard air mattress and it’s as close as you’re going to get to a real bed when camping.

I really loved this. Just wanted to let others know that the air matters does not fully inflate if the batteries you are using is old.

LOVE the cot, it is fantastic!!! The cot is easy to put up and take down, very stable once up. HATE the air mattress, could not get it to hold air!!! I used my queen mattress that is 5 years old and never loses air for the entire month that I tent camp. I am almost 70 and this is a game changer! Try to find a good deal or cot without mattress.

Very comfy, used this for a camping trip and when dad came to stay in one bedroom apartment. We collapsed it every day while he was here and took about 1 minute said and done. Would recommend to anyone to what’s an air mattress and not to climb off the floor!

You can’t beat this for the price. Very comfortable and so easy to use. I didn’t realize the pump took batteries but not a deal breaker. They give great instructions and advice about how the mattress will stretch so you need to add air each night but very easy. It’s a great height and the added side tables are awesome.

All in all this cot was very comfortable. The plastic air mattress was less than comfortable so I ditched it for a better mattress. My only other complaint is there is nothing to lock the legs once they are extended. If the ground is uneven it wants to collapse. We found shimmering the legs level with some scrap wood did the trick. I am 5’ 9” and my husband is 6’ 3” and our feet didn’t hang off the end.

I used this camping I am disabled and had a hard time getting off the double airbeds, but this one with its sturdy base made all the difference. I can get in and out of bed easily. And it is so comfortable to sleep on almost as good as my sleepnumber bed. It is quiet when I move around on it and in a 5 day camp only had to refill it once. the only drawback was how to fold it and put it in case after I'm done. it also didn't come with any instructions on how to set it up but you'd have to be an idiot not to figure it out. I loved the nightstand on either side. best bed for camping by far, as a matter of fact my daughter will get one for xmas.
