I use these in my Greenhouse for Passive Solar collection. I filled them with 4” rocks and added water after painting them with Black liquid rubber. They are presently providing heat along with electric heat in my Montana Greenhouse. They are very sturdy and I would buy them again for added heat. Testing them now for extended use time.

Good product. The first one had a slight flaw on the rim which caused it not to seal with the lid that I fixed. the second one was perfect.

They’re good as expected. The old school locking mechanism can absolutely cut your finger off. Be careful. I would think this design could be improved - it’s a very old style mechanism. The only other complaint is the bottoms are not flat so they’re difficult to stack. Would be better if the bottom was flat.

I'm pleased I was able to find this. With some fittings it has turned into a perfect feeder for my flock. I do struggle with getting the metal lock ring closed and by now I just leave it off since the lid design already keeps the rain out (at least what little rain we get in So Cal.
