I buy two pair of caterpillar work boots yearly, soft or comp toe. Started this in 1995. Fine foot wear, top value for the price. Always a perfect fit, no break in even the comp toe boots that are great walking boots. I got a pair finally that run small, no biggie, I return and buy another pair of them. 25 years of great use, in my favor

NOT HAPPY to see that stitching is already ripping out after only day of use on a landscaping job. I received these on Tuesday, wore them for the first time on Wednesday and already on Thursday I noticed the stitching began ripping out. I’ve worn Cat boots my whole life and it seems the quality of Caterpillar brand is declining.

All things considered this is a good quality sturdy boot.The laces are very strong, and are long enough to wrap around before tying. The eyelets and hooks appear to be well attached, and the boots are overall very comfortable.My only problem is that I have somewhat skinny ankles, and I'm unable to tighten the boot enough to provide greater ankle support.

I work on a farm. I’m on my feet 7 days a week usually at least 10 hours a day usually on concrete. I put my boots through hell standing in manure sometimes up to my knees (socks never get wet), grease, slippery concrete, oil, diesel, snow.. you name it and these boots will take it. These boots are the most dependable and comfortable ones I’ve ever worn. I go through 3 pair a year, but nothing beats a pair of Caterpillar 2nd Shift Boots!
