Bought these and I think they help - nothing wriggling when I look inside my rain barrel. But the mosquitos are still around and more so if I don't refill this every two weeks (or even every one week). But a good product and will buy again.

I used it for soil, if u use it in plants I run it thru a blender lightly so it's small looking pebbles not dust, and I use 1/4 of a piece per 5-10 gallon pot and it helps get rid of fungus gnats mosquito's and other lil flying bugs that like soil.

The squirrels like to drink the water that I place these in. So far it hasn't harmed the squirrels. Actually works on the number of mosquitoes. I use this product and a yard spray and the combination has helped tremendously this summer.

They do not really dissolve very well in water. But I haven't noticed any mosquitoes so it must be working. And I have a dog so I was worried about a product in the water.

Online tip showed me how to use these for fungus gnats. Crumble, mix with water, let sit overnight, and water in once a month.

I put these under my deck in summer where rain water puddles. Deck is 2' off ground and in shade, doesn't dry after all the rain we get
