This dust cloths come highly recommended, yet I don't know why! They do catch the dust. But when washed, the dust clings to them and are not reusable.Much too pricy for disposables!

These are the WORST duster cloths I have ever used. They look identical to the dusters I would use in the UK and can never find here. Way way more expensive, but if they had worked I would have been happy. They state you don’t need to use polish which was a bonus. But after using them 3-4 times they simply weren’t polishing. It was like wiping with a paper towel. I followed the instruction and hand washed them and the quality afterwards was AWFUL. They immediately began to fray a few strings. Despite their look I was hopefully they would regain their polishing ability but alas. They now were leaving small lint fibers all over the surfaces and creating more of a mess than they were helping. I had no choice at this point other than to try using polish with them. This didn’t work and they got damp from the polish very quickly. That then turned them into a wet wipe and again, fibers galore. One final attempt was to wash them again. After drying they looked even wose than the first time. More threads and they were falling apart around the edges. They looked old and worn and are didn’t even serve the purpose they were intended for. I had no option other than to trash them. Don’t waste your money.

We bought the Guardsman Treated Cotton Dusting Cloths, 5 in the package. We used them one time for dusting and washed them as the instructions say. All 5 cloths unraveled on 2 sides that are unfinished. The two sides that are finished washed fine. The unfinished sides that unraveled left long strings along the entire edges - the same on all 5 of the cloths. My guess is that the Guardsman cloths start as one long piece that is cut into individual lengths, which explains why two sides are finished and 2 are not. We purchased another brand of dusting cloths at the same time - they are all finished on all 4 sides.

Bought directly from Guardsman website. THESE ARE NOT HEMMED. Fray badly even after gentle hand-washing in kitchen sink.

Will ask the local alteration shop if she can hem these, otherwise they're NOT worth keeping. Additional expense that should not be necessary. Make this product properly, please.

Whatever chemical/wax is applied to the flannel works really well, but the fact that these disintegrate with only gentle washing is absurd.

Cleaning supplies...you have to hand wash?? Plus the edges of the cloths aren't sewn and looks like they could easily fray. #returningthese

These Dusting cloths fray. I washed by hand as recommended and all of the edges frayed. I "pinked" all of the edges on one of the cloths, and after washing it also frayed, with long threads. I own old Guardsman Dusting cloths, which have held up over many uses, so I know how they should be.

Didn't work to pick up dust. Pushed it around. And didn't last more than a day or two per rag.
