This has worked pretty well for me, but only if I move it around and stretch a couple of areas at a time. The reason for that is the only real area that gets stretched is what is under the thinner black pulling strap, and not the rest of the pouch holding your foot. So if you center the device on your foot and pull, really only your center three digits get the stretch while your big toe sort of sits there in the red sling because the black pulling strap isn't under it.

There are so many different devices offered for this condition. One device may work and another device may work better. There is know way of knowing. It would cost way to much money to try different devices that would work for you. All you can do is take a chance when buying a device and HOPE it works for you. Most people (including me) buy on impulse. It maybe better to show your doctor the device before your purchase it and get his/her input. It would be good to bring your doctor a printout of the description of the item or if you are lucky enough to own an Ipad, etc., that would be another way to show your doctor the item.

This one is for when you are sitting with legs straight or in bed while watching t.v. (better than nothing) otherwise stretching on a step while standing is a better stretch. I loop the belt around my calf so I can free my hands. I got a bad case of plantar fasciitis so I need to stretch every time I can.

Okay, I'm probably not your typical user of this device. I have extremely tight legs and feet that resist stretching of all kinds. I bought this device to help stretch my legs. I thought stretching my feet would be a good bonus.Pros* Comfortable. There is no pressure on the bottom of the foot like most devices. It grabs the heal.* SturdyCons* Very hard on the hands. The straps force all your fingers into a slot so they all get jammed together. The pulling angle is all wrong. Granted, I'm using a lot of force because my legs just don't bend.* Causes my feet to hurt. I can't stretch my legs alone. The design forces my foot to stretch also.I have stopped using this device because of the cons listed above.
