So glad to have these tools to speed along removals and installations of slack adjusters. The release tool slips under that pawl pin beautifully and in most cases you can just leave it upright and let it do its thing, where in the past, lacking this tool, you'd be tying up a whole hand (and there are only so many you can use at once) holding a screwdriver under that release tab. The ratchet tool is just as beautiful, though it probably could be better designed. Maybe it could be a bit longer, or maybe the ratcheting teeth count could be upped. The biggest disappointment has been the resistance to selecting the direction of the ratcheting (clockwise vs. counterclockwise) -- the little switch is tough to move sometimes. Would that stop me from loving this set? No. I'll probably never touch another slack adjuster without them. Despite wanting them for years I always just hated the idea of paying $40 for them and thought one day I'd get lucky and find them for $25. It never happened!
