It just got pulled off my Kayak by a bush. It was brand new. My kayaks rod holder do a better job. I called Scotty a week ago and they haven’t replied back yet. I’m not worried about the rod holder but my $300 rod and reel that was lost because the Scotty didn’t hold.

when I ordered this the description was for the 241-BK-QUAD with side deck mount, sold as 4 pack. I GOT ONE. checked the description again and it had changed. wish I had screen shot it. I will for all orders going forward.

Way too big to mount on a kayak, and even if I could mount it on a kayak it didn't come with any mounting plate or screws or anything. It's just the rod holder and that's it. Not worth the price, especially since I can't use it.
