It has enough static pressure to move exhaust air out of our garage. It isn't quiet except on the first 3 speeds. I wish I had purchased a big one to run it at a slow speed for silence. It works much better than regular exhaust fans or computer looking type fans.

I bought this to ventilate my basement. Depending on how well it worked I was going to buy a humidity level activated switch so it wouldn't run all the time. It is very quiet and moves a lot of air. I was very concerned about the noise level because it exhausts under the stairs in my living room. The only reason I don't give it five stars is actually my fault for not doing my research. After I started reading the directions I discovered they make a model that you can set humidity levels and is wifi.

It's nice but there's no way this is 204 cfm. Filter and mufler reduces the air flow a great deal. Way more than wirh my old style 184 cfm fan.

Overall good product. Paired with the AC infinity tent i have good results. Using in a 4x4 so i could have gotten a 6” but this 4” has been doing an okay job keeping temps between 70-75 while using an HPS/MH bulb.

I like the fan but, I should have purchased the 400cfm model. The 2to 00 cfm moves a fair amount of air, but I have a large bathroom. The design where you have to remove the fan from the ends to reach the mounting holes needs changed to make it easier to mount. Then there is the wired fan control switch, I intended to use a single gang box to mount in my bathroom wall. The problem the one that came with my unit was not designed to mount that way. Luckily, my inside walls are tongue and groove 2 by 8 boards, so I was able to cut just the right size hole to mount the switch and put a face plate on it. I'm using the fan as an exhaust fan using an existing exhaust hole through my 6x12 log walls. I wish they had offered for sale a grill and inlet. I looked at a number of fans and this to me was the better choice for moving air, it just needs a few modifications. As for sound mine is mounted nearly directly above the controller is, with just a 2 inch. thick wood ceiling and I forget it's on because I can hardly hear it.

This fan was very easy to install, coming with hose clamps and mounting hardware. My Glowforge used to sound like a jet taking off next door, and I had to banish it to the laundry room, and even so watching TV 2 rooms over it was very noisy. After installing this fan and disabling the Glowforge fan (in the settings) it is a huge relief. Even on its top speed it is about the volume of the internal fan. My only complaint was the price, but if it lasts I will feel it was worth it.
